Création d’un Yunus Social Business Center à l’IAE Nice

L’Institut d’Administration des Entreprises (IAE) de Nice, Université  Côte d’Azur a signé le 13 juin 2023, dans le cadre d'une convention avec IAE France et le Centre Yunus Paris, un accord de partenariat avec le Pr. Muhammed Yunus pour la création d’un Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC).

Muhammed Yunus, est le fondateur de la Grameen Bank au Bangladesh, la première institution de micro-crédit. Surnommé "le banquier des pauvres", il reçoit le prix Nobel de la paix en 2006. 

En créant un Yunus Social Business Center à l’IAE Nice, l'école entend aller plus loin dans la formation et la sensibilisation des étudiants au Social Business à travers des cours spécifiques, contrats d’apprentissage et nouveaux projets à impact social. Ce centre aurait également pour mission de diffuser de nouvelles connaissances sur la recherche en Social Business et marque un engagement supplémentaire de l’IAE Nice et de l’Université Côte d’Azur pour une économie et une société plus équitables et plus durables.

The Institute of Business Administration (IAE) of Nice, Université Côte d’Azur, under a convention with IAE France and the Yunus Centre Paris, has signed a partnership agreement with Prof. Muhammed Yunus on June 13, 2023, for the creation of a Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC). 

Prof. Muhammed Yunus, the founder of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, the first microcredit institution, nicknamed "the banker to the poor," was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.

By creating a Yunus Social Business Center at IAE Nice, the school aims to further enhance the education and awareness of students in the field of #SocialBusiness through specific courses, apprenticeship contracts, and new projects with a social impact. This center will also have the mission of sharing new knowledge on Social Business research, representing an additional commitment from IAE Nice and Université Côte d’Azur to a more equitable and sustainable economy and society.
